WE CAN HELP ACHIEVE NET ZERO-CARBON BY 2050

A record 23.7 GW of clean energy was procured by corporations in the US in 2020 and according to BloombergNEF, underpinning the market is surging corporate stakeholder interest in sustainability, carbon reduction and climate risk mitigation.

Urban Grid brings deep experience with offsite solar solutions, structured finance and solar and storage project development. We aim to deliver real value for our corporate clients while helping them to achieve their long term economic and sustainability goals.

How We Rolled
(and still do)

As the saying goes, anything worth doing is hard. But sometimes, change and transition can begin with the simplest actions that lead to monumental impact. In Urban Grid’s early days, from a makeshift office in a spare bedroom, a late night internet search for land led to a phone call, that led to an introduction that eventually led to a 400 MWac project with one of the world’s largest corporate consumers of energy. True story!

Today, for different reasons, many of us are working out of makeshift offices in spare bedrooms. But our team is accomplished, our approach is sophisticated and we bring a decade of experience transacting awesome renewable energy projects and bringing them to life.

Our early days shaped our culture and Urban Grid remains a tenacious band of believers in the clean energy transition. We’re inspired knowing the impact of our everyday efforts can enable our partners to change the world.
